WINFRED O`DELL(WHIMP) LEWIS, age 86 of Jefferson City formerly of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 following an extended illness.  He was the son of the late Eugene and Lucille Lewis and was preceded in death by his daughter, Della Denise Lewis and 3 brothers and 4 sisters.  He is survived by his children, DeWayne Scott Lewis, Tina DeAnn Lewis Gilliam, and Derwin O`Dell Lewis; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Winfred was a veteran of the U.S. Army and then worked at American Enka for several years.  He was a retired self employed Dry Wall Hanger following many years of service.   He was a Loving Father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, 6:00pm at Farrar Chapel with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00pm prior to the memorial celebration of life service at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
