Wilma (Chambers) Reneau, 90, of Dandridge, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior the evening of May 14, 2026 surrounded by loving family and friends in the comfort of Serenity House in Morristown, TN. Wilma was a lifetime member of Grant’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawson John “Dink” Chambers and Cora Shrader Chambers, husband, Herbert “Tojo” Reneau, son, Ricky Reneau, two brothers, JT Chambers and wife Imogene Chambers, Kenneth “Blue” Chambers and wife Betty Chambers, special sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Richard Lindsey, Vaughn Reneau & Robert Reneau, and granddaughter, Bridget Franklin, and great-great granddaughter, Shelby Ann Branch. She is survived by her daughters, Sheilah Neal and Robin Bush; sister, Peggy (Bill) Fain; younger brother, RA “Doc” (Joanne) Chambers; granddaughter, Callie (Timothy) Taylor; great grandchildren, Jada Franklin and Kaden Riddle; and great-great granddaughter, JayLynn Branch. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Before her retirement at Rittenhouse, she worked many years at Gaby Hosiery Mill. She was a caregiver to others, including Mary Anderson, for seven years, whose son, Cecil, loved her like a second mother. She had a keen eye for fashion, loved to accessorize, loved to shop, and enjoyed the beauty salon. She survived cancer for 54 years. She was a great woman who will be dearly missed. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2026, 4-6pm, immediately followed by the funeral service with Rev. Darrell Chambers, Rev. Dr. Tom Stanton, and Rev. Charles Shipley officiating. Graveside services will be held at Grant’s Chapel United Methodist Cemetery on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grant’s Chapel United Methodist Church, PO BOX 693 - Dandridge, TN 37725, or Friends of Hospice of the Lakeway Area, Inc., 421 N. High Street - Morristown, TN 37814.
