William Hensley

William “Hyder” Hensley, age 75, passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2026 peacefully after a brief illness at home surrounded by his immediate family. He was a dedicated employee of ConAgra for 46 years, and most of all was dedicated to his family. He is proceeded in death by his father, Lacy Henlsey; mother, Susie Sisk Owens; and brothers, Jerry Darrell Hensley, and Bobby Hensley. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Wendy Hensley; daughter, Brittany Hensley; sister, Diane Askew, Geneva Hensley; and survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

William will lie in state on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. A graveside service will follow on Friday August 28, 2026 at 2:00pm at Hills Union Cemetery in Dandridge with Rev. Steve Renner officiating.
