Wesley William Culbertson

Wesley William Culbertson passed away peacefully July 9, 2026 surround by the love of his family.

Born in 1936 to his father Orbin and Vivian Culbertson his mother Vivian remained a constant even after her passing to his last days.He is survived by all 7 of his children who he loved dearly - Dawn (Culbertson) and husband John Winiecki, Debbie (Culbertson) and deceased husband Ronald Lathis, Michael Culbertson and wife Anne Brett, Mark Culbertson, Brian and wife Lidia Culbertson, William Culbertson, Nicole Culbertson. He has many grand and great grand children that he spent time bringing smiles, laughter and love to. He was married to Mary Helen (Czajkoski) deceased who gave him 6 children, a family of brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews who gave him joy and love. Also married to Geraldine Culbertson deceased who gave him 1 child and love as well. He also had his brother Phillip, sister Shirley and Lilian to share his life.

He worked hard his whole life retired from the railroads of Santa Fe, Amtrak, MARTA and METRA while also working other jobs as well. He continued after retirement to work for many years for his good friend at Joe Rizza Ford.

His passion for learning and teaching his skills to others were seen everyday, there wasn't much he couldn't do from cars to house repairs and remodel he was always working with his hands.

Pops will be missed but will be in our hearts and minds as everyone he's touched uses his knowledge and skills.

Rest in Peace Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, WW, B Boy, Uncle Wes, Mr. C, our father, mentor and ENGINEER of our family.
