 Wayne Edward Underwood, age 89, of Kodak, TN passed away Monday evening at his home following an extended illness. He was a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. He was proceeded in death by his parents, James, and Velma Underwood; daughter, Patricia Ann Underwood; brothers, James, and Lester Underwood; and sister, Bonnie Kirby. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Rimmer) Underwood; children, Mike (Beulah) Underwood, Bill Underwood, Rick (Teresa) Underwood, and Teresa Underwood Eldridge; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 2:00pm at Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Interment to follow in the Paw Paw Hollow Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Paw Paw Baptist Church prior to the service.
