Virginia "Lorene" Galyon

Virginia “Lorene” Galyon, passed away peacefully October 2, 2021 at Jefferson Park in Dandridge where she had been a resident for the past 4 ½ years as a result of dementia and Alzheimer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clabe and Mary Loveday, 5 sisters, Irene French, Pauline Loveday, Jessie Mae Landcaster, Georgia Banks, and Dorothy “Cotton” Donahoo, 2 brothers, George “Judge” Landcaster and James Loveday, 3 husbands, Albert Etherton, J.S. Whittaker and Ken Galyon, and son, Bryan Etherton.
Lorene is survived by her daughter, Kristy Whittaker, grandson and wife, Michael and Shalene Adams, and brother, Jerry Loveday.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00PM at Hills Union United Methodist Church in the Sandy Ridge Community.
