Virginia Grace Frame

With her loving family gathered around, Virginia Grace Frame peacefully transitioned from this earth to her heavenly home on May 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and joy.

Virginia graduated from Indiana University and dedicated more than 60 years of her life as a licensed x-ray technician, faithfully serving her patients, colleagues, and medical staff with care, skill, and a memorable sense of kindness. Her work was more than a career-it was a calling to minister healing and love through every interaction.

As the devoted daughter of a minister, Virginia’s walk with God began early. By the age of twelve, she was already teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Her wisdom and heart for the Word never wavered, and even the adults in her classes called her one of the best teachers they’d ever had. Her faith was her foundation, and she built every part of her life upon it.

Virginia’s talents were as abundant as her generosity. She played the piano and marimbaphone and lent her beautiful voice to many church choirs throughout the years. In New Castle, Indiana, she became a beloved voice in the community through her weekly newspaper column. She also traveled as a public speaker, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and delighting audiences with her infectious humor and clever skits.

Those who knew her will remember Virginia as an extraordinary friend and comforter, a faithful Christian servant, and a mischievous prankster who knew just how to lift a heart or bring a smile. As a grandmother and aunt, she was intentional in creating cherished memories—her love was felt in every holiday, every note, and every laugh.

Her life was guided by Scripture, and she often turned to Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God,” a verse she not only quoted, but lived by with unwavering faith.

Virginia is survived by her loving family: her niece, Deborah (Thomas) Nuzzi; grandchildren, Devon Frame and Brieana Frame; her son, Ross Frame; brother, Ted (Beverly) Lee; great-nieces, Katherine (Jason) Brabson, Ellie (Thomas) Modugno, Bethi Nuzzi; and great-nieces and nephews, Spencer (Ashley) Cook and Thomas N. Nuzzi. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Charles Ross Lee and Grace (Coleman) Lee; and daughter, Angela (Gary) Rodgers.

The family is so grateful for the wonderful love and care by the staff at Covenant Hospice, and specifically, Nurse Julie, Caregiver Ruby, Chaplain Devan, and Dr. Lance Patton and his nurses.

Her life was a radiant example of love in action, and her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Shady Grove Global Methodist Church, Dandridge, Tennessee on July 3, 2025, at 6:00 pm, and in Lakeland, Florida to be arranged in February 2026. She will be interred in a family grave in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida.
