Virginia Lorene Briggs

Lorene V. Briggs entered into Heaven on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Jefferson Park of Dandridge. She was retired from American Enka /BASF. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Miss Virginia was saved at an early age at Cobb’s Chapel Baptist Church, she loved the Lord and walked daily in her faith.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Addie and Grant Bowlin, sister, Mildred Moore, and husband Robert Briggs. She is survived by her son, Cliff Briggs, grandsons, Kyle, Andrew and Eli Briggs, sister, Lena Trent, brother, Edd (Sue) Bowlin, special friend and companion, Jessie Navarro. The family would like to extend a Special Thank You to the staff at Jefferson Park of Dandridge and Smoky Mountain Hospice Care. She will Lie in State between the hours of 1:00pm and 6:00pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, family and friends will gather at 10:45am in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, for the 11:00am service with Cory Hammett officiating. Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
