Tricia Williams passed away on January 6, 2026, leaving a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Born on July 27, 1975, Tricia was a woman who lived for the people she loved and found joy in the simple things in her day-to-day life. To know Tricia was to know a friend. She was incredibly outgoing and could talk to anyone; she truly didn't believe in strangers. She had a heart of gold and was the type of woman who would give you her last dollar or the shirt off her back if you needed it. She was a "good woman" in every sense; comforting, selfless, and always there when things went wrong. Her hugs always made everything feel alright again. She was famously "stubborn as a mule" when she had her mind set on something, but she also had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. She was the anchor for her family, including her brothers and sisters, whom she loved dearly. She made sure her siblings and extended family always felt her support and her love. Tricia’s greatest joy, however, was being a mother and a grandmother. She lived to brag about her grandchildren, loving them like no other and making sure everyone knew how proud she was of them. While her family misses her deeply, they find comfort knowing she is finally reunited with her beloved baby who passed away in infancy and her mom.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Norman Lee Williams; mother, Diana Moore; daughter, Kortney Hurst, and several grandparents and great grandparents.
She is survived by her father, Joseph Toneges (Wendy); step-father, Alan Moore; sons, Anthony Hurst, Tyler Toneges (Liz); daughters, Tabitha Toneges (Kevin), Jada Williams (Hunter); sisters, Melissa Toneges (Derrick), Amber O’Rourke (Sean), Amanda Toneges, Kaitlyn Toneges; brothers, Joseph Toneges, Alan Moore, and David Toneges (Mary); grandchildren, Lilyanna Hurst, Emma Grey, Noah Grey, Dominic Toneges, Sawyer, Oaklynn, Colton, and Carter Hurley. And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday January 10, 2026 at 2:00PM at Mullins Chapel Cemetery in Dandridge with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
In honor of Tricia, the family asks that you think of her whenever you see her favorite color, red, or feel the warmth of the sun. She will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
