Thoma Michelle Butler, age 67, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026. She was born on August 24, 1958, and was a lifelong Oregonian before recently moving to Jefferson City, Tennessee, to be closer to family.

Thoma proudly served her country in the United States Army for two years. She was an avid Oregon Ducks fan and found great joy in cheering on her favorite team. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild grow.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Clarissa McGaha of Jefferson City, Tennessee; her four beloved grandchildren, Tessa Stoltz, Tucker Stoltz, Laney McGaha, and Lyla McGaha; her cherished great-grandson, Jaxton Stoltz; and her brother, Gene Brock Jr. of Creswell, Oregon and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Myrtle Jean Brock of Creswell, Oregon; her husband, Art Butler of Creswell, Oregon; and her daughter, Nicole McGaha of Reedsport, Oregon.

Thoma will be remembered for her love of family, her patriotism, her unwavering support of the Oregon Ducks, and the kindness she shared with those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
