Tater (Dennis) James

Tater (Dennis) James, age 64, of Dandridge, passed away on Thursday, February 5th, after a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Scott James, his mother, Louise James, and his brother, Mike James.

He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Tammy James; his daughter, Angelia (Justin) Hance, who was his whole world; and his beloved grandson, Byron Hance. He is also survived by his brother, Steve (Renee) James, along with many friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Holler Family for their love and support.

A funeral service will take place at 1PM, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with burial to follow in the Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11AM to 1PM, prior to the service.
