Tammie B. Suggs

Tammie Brown-Suggs, age 56 of Newport, was born June 4, 1969 and passed away January 2, 2026 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She enjoyed every moment with her family; and loved her grandkids dearly.

Tammie was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra (Earl) Chambers; sister, Karen Evans, niece, Elizabeth Guinn, and stepmother, Linda Stoneberger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chris Suggs; her father, Lynwood Paul "Sonny" Stoneberger; daughter, Sharah (Fidel) Jones, Matthew (Elizabeth) Brown, Emily Fowler, and Andrew Suggs; grandchildren, Cashten, Aalyiah, Makiyah, Zaniyah, Ari, Cyrus, Maddie, & Jackson; brother, Tony (Angie) Stoneberger; sisters, Krystal (Darryl) Gore and Tiffany (Dan) Peer; brother-in-law Greg (Barb) Suggs; great aunts & uncle, Evelyn Dockery, Glenna Hollifield, & Glenn (Vickie) Gregg; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Per her request, Tammie was cremated with a private graveside service to take place at the Balch Cemetery in Dandridge.
