Sue Eslinger Satterfield

SUE ESLINGER SATTERFIELD, age 79 of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday afternoon, June 6, 2004 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital following a brief illness. She was born April 1, 1925 in Dandridge, TN, the daughter of the late George and Sarah Eslinger. Preceded in death by husband, John Satterfield; brothers, William (Red) Eslinger, George R. (Dick) Eslinger, and Tom Eslinger; sisters, Frances hampton and Pauline Corbett. Sue was a member of the Grants Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of the Jefferson County Nursing Home. Survived by son and daughter in law, Dennis and Julia Eslinger of Morristown; grandson, Chad and wife Amanda; special granddaughter, Josie; brothers, Turney Eslinger and Earl Brown Eslinger; several nieces and nephews; stepsons, J.L. and Grace Satterfield, Bill and Linda Satterfield, Chaarles and Geraldine Satterfield, David and Beatrice satterfield and Roy Satterfield; stepdaughter, Brenda Satterfield; special niece, Mary Sue Purkey; special nephew, Gary Eslinger and special friends, Grace Satterfield and Linda Marshall. Funeral services will be hele at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Robert McCray and Reverend Darrell Chambers officiating. Interment graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
