Scott Edward Laverty

Scott Edward Laverty, age 62 of Dandridge, TN passed away Monday, April 24, 2023.

He was a retired Army veteran with 22 years of service, and 18 years with Overman International.

Scott is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Laverty; brothers, Randy and Joe Laverty; stepfather, John Boothby; and first wife, Arlene Laverty.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary Laverty; daughter, Misty Laverty; two stepsons, Ross and Stephen Lewis; four grandchildren, Hope May, Thomas May, Luke Lewis, and Konner Eddleman; mother, Mary Boothby; sisters, Linda Clayton and Kim Laverty; brothers, Jamie Laverty, Brian Laverty, David Laverty, several nieces and nephews and many very close friends.

Graveside Service will be Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00am at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge.
