Sarah Ruth Crowe Hurst

Sarah Ruth Crowe Hurst, age 72, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. following a lingering illness. She was a member of Anchor Hope Church (Maryville). Preceded in death by father, Hodge Crowe, and mother, Jenny Crowe Pitts. Survived by husband, Don Hurst; daughter, Donna Guinn and husband Robin of New Market, son, Johnny Boatman of Newport; step sons, Jeff and Jason Hurst; granddaughters, Jennifer Guinn of New Market, Rene Young of White Pine; and grandsons, Travis Guinn of New Market and Chad Boatman of Rutledge;10 great grandchildren; brothers, Steve, Bobby, and Carl Crowe; sister, Ann Berry of New Market; several nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 at Farrar’s Chapel with eulogy by Jennifer Guinn . Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
