Sandra 'Sandi' Bush, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday June 15, 2026. Sandi is now at peace and resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a courageous battle with cancer. No doubt, there was a huge 'welcome home' party in Heaven for her, with her family and friends in attendance. Some of her last words were, "God is Great". Born to Charles and Evelyn Clark in Dayton, TN in 1946. Her family moved to MI, in pursuit of a better life, working in the factories. She worked at Post cereals for many years where she met the love of her life, Thomas Bush. Sandi and Tom were married in 1975. They moved back to TN in 1988, where they owned and operated a local campground for 21 years. She loved to sew and probably used miles of fabric and thread, over the years. She loved to give, as well. She also loved her family and friends with a fierceness of a 'Mama Bear. She was a member of Shady Grove Church, where she stills has many friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by her parents, Beloved husband and her sister, Linda 'Charlene' Mullen. Sandi is survived by her devoted and loving daughter and son-in-law, Stacie (Bush) and Quinton Williams; Grandsons, Brandon and Zane Williams; Great-grandchildren, Brylee and Keegan Williams; Brother, LTC C.E. Clark, Jr of Nashville, MI; Aunt, Thelma Kelley, Dayton, TN; Special 'Sister', Nancy Greene, Dandridge, TN; Brother-in-law, Tom Mullen, as well as a nephew and many nieces, cousins and beloved friends.
Sandi's family would like to thank Life Care of Jefferson City. To all the nurses and aides, Unit 1, for their devoted caring, compassion and kindness. Thank you also for the tremendous outpouring of love from her friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Isaiah 117 House of Jefferson City, TN.
