Robert E. Kelly

Robert E. Kelly, age 86 of Jefferson City, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 11, 2026, at his home. He is preceded in death by his son, Randy Kelly; parents, Mitchell and Cindy Kelly; brothers, James Kelly and Dorris Kelly; and sister, Addie Shelton.

He was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a construction worker and helped build the World’s Fair, Jefferson County High School and US Bank in Jefferson City. He was also a former employee of Blanc & West and retired from Valley Proteins.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Blanche Kelly; daughter, Debbie (Sean) Jordan; grandchildren, Randall (Dakota) Kelly, Sean A. (Nora) Jordan Jr. and Ryan Jordan; great-grandchildren, Landon, Axel, Declan and Otto; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1:00pm Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, TN with Reverend Jerry Harris officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. A military graveside service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
