Robert F. Humpston

Robert F. Humpston, born July 10, 1944, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 27, 2025. Robert was an accomplished and highly sought-after mechanical engineer and instrument designer. Highly respected in his field, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with the younger generation of engineers. More impressive than any professional accolades is the personal legacy he leaves behind. Robert's kindness and generous nature always drew people to him, and his quick wit and sense of humor kept them laughing. He was a proud member of the Freemasons for over 50 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 61 years, Linda Thorp Humpston; daughter, Robin Humpston McClellan and his beloved grandchildren, Caleb and Chloe McClellan. Other loved ones include sister, Wanda Humpston Parks, Uncle Ardel Freshour, cousin, Susie Freshour, sons-in-law, Richard Gabriel and Michael McClellan as well as ever so many friends.

Robert is proceeded in death by his parents, Fred Humpston and Belva (Freshour) Humpston, and his oldest daughter, Angela Humpston Gabriel.

Robert will be cremated per his wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
