Robert Earl Brabson

Robert Earl Brabson, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away peacefully Sunday evening, October 2, 2022.  He was born July 9, 1935 to Frank P. and Ophelia Brabson, the youngest of six children.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, George, Herbert, Jessie and Maxine Tuggle.  Earl attended and graduated Nelson Merry in Jefferson City, TN and  retired from Sears after 42 years of service.  He loved fishing and baseball,  was an avid gardener, and loved working in the yard and flower beds.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Alice; his sons Ronnie and Kevin; two grandkids; and a brother, Elmer of Los Angles CA; sister-in-law, Doris Cunningham several nieces, nephews and cousins; two special friends Gerald Walker and Melvin Jackson; a close neighbor Jack Ingram.  The family will receive friends on Friday October 7, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with  Rev. Doug Jennings officiating.
