Rick "Cat" Grogan

Rick ?Cat? Grogan, age 61 of Dandridge, passed away on July 13, 2021. He attended Swanns Chapel Baptist Church, a retiree from 37 Mine in Cumberland, KY where he was over the mine rescue squad, president over the Tri-City little league, and an electrician for the City of Benham, KY. Rick was an avid fisherman and was affectionately known as ?Catman?. Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ray Grogan and Betty Funk Grogan. He is survived by his son, Chase Grogan, sisters, Geri (Jeff) Overbey and Vicky Brogan, nieces and nephew, John (Brandy) Overbey, Whitney Brogan (Dave Linkous), and Elizabeth Brogan, and great nephew, Calvin Linkous. Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Swanns Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge prior to the service.
