Rick Brave-Lion

Rick Brave-Lion, age 92, of White Pine, TN passed peacefully at home on December 16, 2025. Rick was retired from the U.S Army as a Sergeant First Class and received a purple heart after being wounded in Vietnam. After his military career, he settled in Tennessee where he enjoyed driving his tow truck, working on cars, riding motorcycles, fishing on Douglas lake and dancing. He is survived by sons, Rick Brave-Lion and Joe Brave-Lion; daughters, Gina (Rick) Lusk and Diane Kapolis; son, Cody Brown; and daughter, Rochelle Horne; grandson, Joshua Doane and Blake Brave-Lion; significant other, Tammy Hensley; and great-grandchildren, Jake and Willow Brave-Lion.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 26, 2025 at 10:00am at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating and a 12:30pm military graveside to follow at East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.
