Ray Robert Riffle, age 85 of Dandridge, passed away at home on July 5, 2025 after a battle with cancer. He loved the Lord; and enjoyed singing gospel music. Ray was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served two tours. He was also a mason, a shriner, and a licensed private pilot. He will be remembered as a hard worker; who enjoyed life to it's fullest every day.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Tom Riffle, Gene Riffle, Sylvia Singleton, Rosalee Pritt, Carol Sue Shears, and Larry Riffle; and a son-in-law, Greg Cain. Married on August 20, 1999, Ray is survived by his loving wife, Deborah F. Riffle; sons, Robert Dale Riffle (Mary Ann), and Randy Ray Riffle (Jeanne); stepdaughters, Kimberly Cain, Michelle Prichard (Stan); grandchildren, Crystal Hull (Bruce), Tyler Riffle (Peyton), Paige Wyant (John), Kenzie Abregu (Kevin), Ryan Riffle (Holly), Riley Riffle (Savannah), Jenna Elkins (Daniel), Spencer Prichard (Victoria), Shelby Massey (Joshua), Alexander Cain (Hannah); great- grandchildren, Logan, Haddie, Isla Hull, Kylie & Reagan Wyant, Ali Abregu, Ellie, Everly, & Ensley Elkins, Rhett Riffle, and Walker & Georgia Massey; and siblings, Dawn Richardson, Bonnie Garrett, Alice Prunty, and Linda Dawson.
A funeral service will take place at 7PM Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church of Dandridge; with Rev. Robert Holt and Rev. Perry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service.
Interment with military honors will take place at 1PM (Central Time) on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Gordonsville Cemetery in Gordonsville, TN.
Farrar Funeral Home of Dandridge (in cooperation with Bass Funeral Home of Gordonsville) are honored to serve the Riffle family.
