Ralph Lawson

• RALPH LAWSON, age 94, of New Market, TN, born June 7, 1929 to Horace and Melvina Lawson, passed away Monday. October 16, 2023 at his residence with his family surrounding him.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Piney Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Jessie Snyder Lawson; son, Jerry Lawson; sisters, Anna Lou, Gladys, Bertha and Jeanette; brothers, Carl, Robert and Clarence. He is survived by is son and daughter-in-law, William and Denise Lawson; brothers, Russell, Harold and Bill; grandchildren, LeAnn Lewis (Jim), Tracy Beard (Jamie), Heather Pavlis (Blake); great-grandchildren, Mason and Baylee Lewis, Caleb, Chloe and Cobey Jess Beard, Andrew Hoover and Aniston Pavlis; a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff with Gentiva Hospice. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October19, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mickey Long officiating. Family and friends will gather on Friday at 10:45 a.m. at Strawberry Plains Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
