Richard Norton, age 66 of White Pine, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. He was an 8-year veteran of the US Army, but his proudest moment was when he asked Jesus Christ to save him and he was baptized by his first cousin Rev. Kenneth Norton. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jewell Norton, father, Pedro Norton and several other extended family members.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Henderson Norton, brothers, John Norton and Billy Joe Norton, sister, Wanda Jean Hall, several step-son, Michael Hall, nieces, nephews and other family members and special sister-in-law, Jeanette Stanley.

A Military Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, 2:00pm in White Cemetery, Parrottsville, TN. Friends may pay their respects between the hours of 9:00 am and 12 noon on Friday at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine.
