Peggy Sue Pritchard, “Nana,” age 77, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away in her home on May 29, 2026 following medical issues. Peggy was born on January 26, 1949. Peggy lived her life around her family and friends and dedicated herself to serving others. She was a graduate of Fulton High School. In her years of hard work, she carried many jobs and finished her life of work at Red Lobster. In her personal life, she was known for her love for her four legged friends. Peggy took in more dogs than anyone could remember. She was also known for her wonderful cooking and family parties that she and Bobby would host at their house. Later, Peggy dedicated herself to caring for her family members in time of need. She cared for her husband Bobby until he moved into an assisted living facility and her daughter Misty who passed peacefully in the comfort of Peggy’s home. Peggy is survived by her children: Richard Gilliam and Tammy Pogue and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Ray, her brother Douglas Ray, her sister Virginia Colson, her daughter Misty Gilliam, and many of her four legged babies.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home, 411 West Broadway Blvd., Jefferson City, Tennessee with a funeral service to follow with Rev. Sam Grindstaff officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1:00p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. 

Her kindness and big heart will be missed by all who knew her.
