Pamela Strowmatt Pack

Pamela Strowmatt Pack was lovingly surrounded by her family as she peacefully entered Heaven on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. Born on January 3, 1943, to Frances Parker Strowmatt, Pam was a devoted wife, mother, Granny, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Gordon Pack.

Pam is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Bill) Walker and Alyson (Chris) Susong. She loved being “Granny” to her cherished grandchildren: Will, Bailey, Packston (Sydney) Walker, and Parker and Payne Susong. Her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life, and she adored every moment spent with them.

A woman of deep love for both her family and her community, Pam dedicated many years of service at Allen-Baker Clinic and later retired from Jefferson County Schools, where she worked as an office administrator in the Special Education Department. Throughout her life, Pam’s kindness and nurturing spirit touched countless lives. She was also an active member of Harvest Outreach Church.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional caregivers and Amedisys Hospice for their unwavering support and compassionate care.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, 7:00pm in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, White Pine, with the Rev. Jim Price, Rev. Brian Osborne and Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Family will receive friends between the hours of 5 – 7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery
