ORVEL REED, age 86, of White Pine, TN passed away Thursday morning, October 10, 2013. He was born and raised in Cocke County, TN and was a retired carpenter. Preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Elizabeth Reed; son, Orvel Lee Reed; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by loving children and daughter-in-law, Billy and Teresa Reed, David Scott Reed and Brenda Reed; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Mary Reed. Graveside funeral services, Saturday, October 12, 2013, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends, Friday evening, 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, WHITE PINE.
