Norma Jean Clark, age 83 of Chestnut Hill, TN, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 23, 2026, in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 26, 1942 in Hamblen County to Vaughnee Collins. On December 14, 1959, Norma married the love of her life, Reverend John Clark, and together they built a home filled with warmth, faith, and laughter. She was a devoted member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church. Norma will be remembered and missed by many. She was a kind-hearted lady who had a giving spirit. Her love for family was evident, and she always felt happiest when she was surrounded by her loved ones. She also took great comfort in her faith and relationship with God. Norma is preceded in death by her mother, Vaughnee Collins and her sister Della Dalton. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Reverend John Clark; her children: David Clark (Tesha), Timmy Clark (Deborah), Michael Clark (Melanie), and Michelle Byar (Henry); her several grandchildren: Tiffany Lambert, Cierra Pruitt, Joshua Clark, Tyler Clark, Hollie Clark, John Michael Clark, James Mitchell Clark, Crystal Byar, and Kaitlyn Byar; great grandchildren: Molli Dominicis, London McGhee, Raelynn Pruitt, Weston Pruitt, and Kaylee Jean Clark; her brother Gerald Lynn Collins, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tesha, who went above and beyond to provide excellent care with love and compassion. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Smoky Mountain Hospice for providing such love and comfort to her and her family during her last days. Thanks to a special friend Claire “K” Hodges. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 27, 2026 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Stacey Morgan and Rev. Shannon Coleman officiating. Interment committal service will follow in Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Clark, Joshua Clark, John Michael Clark, James Mitchell Clark, London McGhee, Henry Byar, and Charley Rhoten. Honorary pallbearers Kenny Rutherford, Larry Brooks, Ronny Coleman, Rob Mayes, Michael Smelcer and Men of all the churches we have served. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
