Nancy Combs Jones

Nancy Frances Jones, age 93 of Knoxville, TN passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Sacred Ground Hospice House in Knoxville. She was a retired RN and had given 38 years of service to Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Nancy also spent 66 years as a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and was a member of the Light Bearers Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fred Jones; parents, James Arthur Combs and Martha Lillian Satterfield; brothers, Wallace Combs and Max Combs; sisters, Sue Lawson and Jo Ann Bates; and son-in-law, Chris Webster.

Her survivors include: daughter, Jennifer Webster; son, Mark (Linda) Jones; grandchildren, Doug (Rachael) Webster, Rachel (Cory) Webster Richards, and Cody Jones; 5 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Wayne Combs and John Combs.

The family will receive friends 5PM – 7PM Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Stevens Mortuary. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1 PM graveside service and interment with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating.
