Nancy J. Clawson Lemons

NANCY J. CLAWSON LEMONS, age 80, of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday morning, February 26, 2017 at her home following an extended illness. She was born June 6, 1936 in Blairsville, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Foust) Clawson. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge, and was retired from the Jefferson County Health Department, where she served as the Family Planning Coordinator. Nancy is survived by her husband, Stanley Lemons, Sr.; children, Stanley Lemons, Jr., Charles Lemons, Cathy Lemons Yates, Bobby Lemons and Michele Lemons Hanek; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny and Chuck Clawson; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank First Baptist Church of Dandridge for their constant prayers, meals and support, as well as the friends and neighbors who provided comfort and companionship. Our family has truly been blessed to receive such kindness from those who loved Nancy dearly. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jacob Lemons officiating. Interment graveside services will be held Wednesday, 10:00am at French Broad Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE www.farrarfuneralhome.
