Mildred Thomas

MILDRED THOMAS, age 83, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with her Lord on January 1, 2006 after a brief illness. She attended Mt. Vale Church of God all of her life. Preceded in death by baby daughter, Halley Earnistine; parents, Alfred and Anna Belle Haynes; brothers, Jack, Walter and Bob Haynes; sister, Baby Delores. Survived by loving husband of 63 years, Hal Thomas; son and daughter-in-law, Walter Wayne and Geraldine Thomas of Jefferson City; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and James Ledford of Talbott, Lois and David Patterson of Jefferson City, Mona and Lowell Ausmus of New Market, Janice Ivy of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren, Tony Patterson, Kathy Ellis, Angie Sauceman, Stacy and Shannon Ausmus, Rodney Sexton, Becky Hurst and Derek Ivy; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special nieces, Ida Fillers and Gay Large, special friend, Marcella Gibbons. A special thank you to a family of wonderful friends who loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2005 at Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Larry Dye, Reverend T. H. Ferrell and Reverend Tony Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the funeral home.
