MICHAEL L. BROOKS, age 45 of Jefferson City passed away Friday morning, March 1, 2019 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was a long-time employee of Perkins Resturant of Dandridge. He is survived by his children, Michaela Brooks, Abby Gail Brooks and Lacy Kuykendall; grandchildren, Matthew and Eli Kuykendall; father and mother, Jimmy and Betty Brooks; sister, Sharon Cate and brother, David Brooks; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019, 2:00pm at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Trent officiating. Interment to follow at Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00pm prior to services.
