Melissa M Brooks of White Pine and long time employee of Food Lion went home to the Lord on September 5, 2026 after a short battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother and an AMAZING mamaw. She is proceeded in death by her mother Patsy Ann Lewis, her papaw Bobby Lewis and her mother in law Irma Sue Brooks. She is survived by Virginia Price (mamaw) Jim Morie (dad) Kathy Morie(stepmom) Frankie Brooks (husband) Elizabeth Brooks (daughter) David Ambrose Estrada (grandbaby) Brandy Lee Curl-Ogle (sister and her husband Grady and children) Mikayla Morie (sister and her husband Eric and children) multiple family members and those who loved her dearly.
