Martha Jane Romines

Martha Jane Lee Romines was born January 11, 1951, and passed away August 9, 2026. Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church and held her Baptist faith close to her heart. She cared deeply for her family and the people around her. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Viola Lee; her husband, Raymond Romines Sr.; her son, Raymond Jr.; her brothers, Jackie, Robert (Bob), Charlie, John, and Ronnie; and her sister, Dorcas. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Ronnie) and Christine. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Amy (Matthew), Haley (Palmer), Johnathan (Tasha), Colby, Tenassa, James, Tyler, and Chase, as well as her great-grandchildren, Easton, Kaigyn, Mia, Lilianna, Leland, Dayton, Addyson, Anaya, and Cashtyn. She is also survived by her brothers, Chester and Eugene (Wanda); sisters-in-law, Mary and Sherri; and several nieces and nephews. Martha will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the memories she made with the people she loved. Her family will always cherish the time they shared with her and carry her memory in their hearts. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Jefferson Park Nursing Home for the care, kindness, and compassion they showed Martha. Your care for her and your support of our family will always be appreciated. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. A graveside service will be held on Friday August 14, 2026 at 10AM at Providence Cemetery in Sevierville with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
