Marshall "Doc" Hopkins

MARSHALL "DOC" HOPKINS, age 77 of Talbott, TN passed away Friday morning, January 21, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Talbott Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Hopkins; sister, Bobbie Hopkins. He is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, David Hopkins of Talbott and Ronnie and Lecia Hopkins of Jefferson City; four grandsons, Shane, Eric, Lynn, and Jalen Hopkins; special niece, Vicky Hodge; brothers, Bernard and Doug Hopkins of Talbott, J.T. and Helen Hopkins of Morristown, Coy and Louise Hopkins and Fred and Margaret Hopkins, all of Talbott; sisters, Ethel Hill, Virginia and Horace Greene and Sarah and Esco Smith, all of Talbott; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011 from Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bobby Hughes officiating. Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Family and friends will gather 10: 00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Sartain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
