Marilyn Sue Jones, age 75, of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly on June 13, 2024. She retired from Jefferson City Police Department, where she spent over 40 years. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Nelda Doughty; sister, Cynthia Doughty; and brother, Steven Doughty. She is survived by her daughter Robbie Jones; sisters, Doris (Don) Patterson, Gloria (Larry) Lambdin and Terri Doughty; a host of nieces and nephews; best friends, Terri Farrow and Betty Lowe; and many brothers and sisters in blue. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with a celebration of life to follow with Pastor Mark Campbell officiating.
