Linda Corum Loveday, age 73, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, surrounded by the love of her family and the hope of her faith. Linda was a devoted Christian for many years, and her faith shaped the way she lived, loved, and served others. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her life was marked by kindness, quiet strength, and a servant’s heart.
She was a long-term, dedicated employee of Food city, where she was known for her strong work ethic, dependability, and friendly spirit. Linda took pride in her work and in the relationships, she built over the years with coworkers and customers alike.
Linda deeply loved her family and treasured time spent with them. She found joy in reading, attending church, and being part of her church family, which meant so much to her. Her gentle presence, warm smile, and steady encouragement will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue to live on through her family and friends. While her absence is deeply felt, those who loved her find comfort in knowing she is celebrating eternal life with her Savior.
Linda is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 44 years Glenn Owen Loveday; parents, Cyle Vernon and Mattie Glyne Corum; brothers, William Charles “Bill” Corum, and James Edward Corum. She is survived by sons, Kyle (Karen) Loveday, and David Loveday; grandchildren, Caitlyn Loveday, Craig (Christia) McGhee, Chase (Mackenzie) McGhee; great grandchildren, Cambree and Cayne McGhee; sister, Elizabeth Morefield, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
