Lillie Crooke Higgins

Lillie Crooke Higgins, age 93 of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.  Lillie was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City and was a devoted Sunday School teacher for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Beatrice Hickman Crooke and husband, William Allen Higgins Sr.

Lillie is survived by her children, Allen Higgins and wife Julie, Cathi Howell and fiancé Odell Morton, Nancy Farris and husband Johnny Wayne, and Trish Bowman and husband Randy; grandchildren, Deanna Gooch and husband Matthew, Jason Farris and wife Erin, Rebecca Felix and husband, Jonathan and Kathryn Higgins ; great grandchildren, John Patton Farris, Haleigh Gooch, Jackson Gooch, Colin Bramblett, Baker Higgins, James Felix, Sabrina Felix, two nieces and a nephew, and several cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Greg Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City from 10:00am to 11:30am prior to the service.
