Laura "Mickie" Brown

Laura “Mickie” Brown, age 82 of White Pine, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, due to a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Cornettsville, KY and is preceded in death by her parents; Lovell and Susanna Polly, loving husband of 62 years; Don Brown, brothers; Dexter, Tommy and Seldon Polly and sister; Annell Polly.

She is survived by her only daughter; Ginger (Ken) Brown Sexton, granddaughters; Kayla (Wesley) Hickle and Mirranda (Bill) Humbard, great-grandson; River Humbard, sister; Lucy Combs and best friend; Pat Rickman along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a Special Thank You to Ft Sanders Regional Hospital Oncology 8th floor for their love and care.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8, 2026 between the hours of 1-3:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine. Family will have a private Graveside Service.
