Kim Darwin Michaelkamp

Kim Darwin Michaelkamp, age 74 of Dandridge, passed peacefully from this life on April 11, 2026. 

Born April 20, 1951 in San Gabriel, California, he was the son of Darwin Edmund Michaelkamp and Carol Mae Thompson Michaelkamp of Wisconsin. A man of faith, Kim attended Mt. Vale Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and retired from a career as a carpenter and foreman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debbie Michaelkamp; daughters, Shannon & Desiree Michaelkamp; five grandchildren, Adrianne, Joseph, Andrew, Serena, & Shayna; 2 great grandchildren, Aubrey & Alora; siblings, Terri (Larry) McCroy, Shawn Kump, & Shane (Anna) Kump; sister-in-law, Cathy Carter; and brother-in-law, Jerry Carter.

Rev. T.H. Ferrell will officiate a Celebration of Life, to be held at 6PM Monday, April 20, 2026 (what would have been Kim's 75th Birthday) at Mt. Vale Church, located at 1330 East Dumplin Valley Road in Jefferson City. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the service.
