Kari Frances Blake

Kari Frances Blake, age 50 of Kodak, passed away at her home on the morning of May 3, 2026.

She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her loving nature, and her tremendous heart. Raised in New Market, Kari was a 1993 graduate of Jefferson County High School. She was also a member of Grace Community Church, where she loved to sing.

Kari was preceded in death by her father, Harold David Blake; mother, Emily Cate Blake; brother, Stephen David Blake; cousin, Adam Gass; and grandparents, Burl & Agnes Cate; She is survived by her daughter Sarah Blake; son, Austin Blake; grandson, Damien Blake; granddaughter, Emily Blake; stepmom, Karen Blake; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many friends; including special friends, Angela Mills, Glenda Holden, and Pastor Josh Moore.

The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Kari's life at a later date.
