Judy Lynn Walker

Judy Lynn Walker, age 69, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital in Morristown, TN. Judy was born on May 8, 1956, in Ellenville Community Hospital in Ellenville, NY. When Judy was brought home from the hospital, she lived with her parents, William R. Walker, and Emma S. Walker, along with her big brother, William R. Walker, Jr, in Kerhonkson, NY. Judy graduated from Keyser High School in Keyser, WV, in 1975. She was a member of the band, as well as the basketball and golf teams. Judy’s greatest joy was the fact that she was the first female to letter in golf at KHS. After graduation, she attended Potomac State College and was a member of the PSC band and played on the basketball team there as well. After Potomac State, Judy moved on to Fairmont State College to continue her education. Judy was always a hard worker and began working at Polish Pines Golf Course in Keyser while she was in high school. Later, while living in Fairmont, she became the manager at Western Sizzlin’ in Morgantown, WV, for several years. She and her partner, Brian Vincent of Fairmont, WV, then moved to Madison, NC. Judy ended up managing a Wendy’s Restaurant in Eden, NC, for 27 years.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, William R. Walker and Emma S Walker. Judy leaves behind her partner, Brian Vincent, of Madison, NC; her siblings, William Walker and wife, Denise, of White Pine, TN; Elizabeth McDowell and husband, William, Robert Walker and wife, Susan, and Deborah Bowman and husband, Glenn, of White Pine, TN. For the last year, Judy has resided with Debbie and Glenn so they could help her get to dialysis. Judy has many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who will have wonderful memories of Aunt Judy.

The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, TN, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 pm. At 3:00 pm, Pastor Josh Moore of Grace Community Church in New Market, TN, will conduct a celebration of life service for Judy at the funeral home. One of Judy’s greatest pleasures was being able to serve at the church every Wednesday.
