Judy Ann Knight

Judy Ann Knight, age 69 of Strawberry Plains, passed away on the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025. Her family takes comfort in the assurance that she is now in Heaven with her Savior, her mother, and her angel granddaughter, Chloe.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother & grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She retired from a career with the Knox County School System; and enjoyed writing, shopping, pottery, gardening, and spending time with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Boudrau "Boodie" McCarter; and granddaughter, Chloe Shiverdecker.  She is survived by her husband Clarence "Bo" Knight; children, Kim Sexton & Missy (Eric) Lett; grandchildren, Wyatt Hopkins, Lily Hopkins, Hadley Stahr, Faith Stahr, Thomas Lett, and Blakely Sexton; father, Billy Joe McCarter; brothers, Steven E. (Quilon) McCarter, Danny (Donna) McCarter, Ricky McCarter; special niece, Jessica McCarter, extended family members, and friends.

Pastor Allen Owens will officiate the funeral service at 7PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. Interment will take place at 11AM, Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the Grant's Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Judy with memorial donations to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
