Judith Ann “Judy” Holbert, age 79, of Dandridge passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 following a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born on January 18, 1946 in Morristown, Tennessee to the late Haskell and Mildred “Inman” Myers. In her youth and young adult’s years she was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Morristown where she was active in the choir and many roles of the church. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and brothers, Glenn, Dan and Billy Myers. She was a devoted wife and mother who will be greatly missed and is survived by her husband, Paul Lee Holbert; son, Don Lee Holbert; sister, Louise (Paul) Myers Carter. She was a member of Dandridge First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for 40 years, was a member of the church choir and served in other positions of the church. Judy was retired from America Enka/BASF after many years of service. Following retirement, she returned home to manage the family farm for which she had a deep passion to do. She was also a dependable caregiver because she took care of Oshia and Viva Scaggs and her mother-in-law Edna Scaggs Holbert.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:30AM at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Jason McIntosh officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Friday, September 26, 2025 between the hours of 10:00am to 4:30pm where the body will lie in state at the funeral home.
