Judith Ann Anderson

Listen to Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Judith Ann Anderson (Judy to all who knew and loved her), who peacefully entered her heavenly home on July 6, 2026, at the age of 83. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, kindness, compassion, and unconditional love.

Judy was born on December 23, 1942, as the second of four daughters, to William Jennings and Leticia Jennings in Santa Monica, California, and raised with her sisters in the home her father built in Tarzana, California.

On December 21, 1963, Judy married the love of her life, Kenneth "Andy" A. Anderson. Together they built a beautiful life in Simi Valley, California, rooted in faith, family, and devotion. She later made her home in Mesa, Arizona, where she lived for more than 30 years before recently moving to Jefferson City, Tennessee, to be closer to the family she cherished so deeply. She is survived by her beloved husband, Andy, of more than 63 years.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Jeanne Ellis (David Ellis) and Kenneth "Kenny" A. Anderson II (Mary Anderson). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ashley Radford, Kaitlin Sanchez, and Kenneth "Andrew" A. Anderson III, and a treasured great-grandmother to Liam Haller, Cooper Sanchez, and Lydia Radford. Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Judy is also survived by her sisters, Diane Thomson (Stuart Thomson) and Bonnie Shea as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jennings and Leticia Jennings, and her sister, Carolyn Preston.

Judy dedicated many years of service as an accountant with the Simi Valley Unified School District, where she retired after a respected 20 year career marked by integrity, diligence, and dedication.

A faithful and devoted Christian, Judy's relationship with the Lord was the foundation of her life. She found tremendous joy and fellowship with her church family at Grace Mesa Church in Mesa, Arizona. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast faith touched everyone who knew her. She lived each day as an example of Christ's love, always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a heartfelt prayer.

She found happiness in reading, the many pets she had over the years, traveling across the country to visit family and loved ones, and creating lasting memories with those she held dear. Above all, she lived to serve her Heavenly Father and found her greatest purpose in sharing His love with others.

While her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Judy's faith has become sight. She is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior, reunited with loved ones who went before her and embraced by the promise of eternal life she so faithfully believed in.

Judy's life was a testament to faith, grace, and enduring love. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
