JOSEPH W. ?J.W.? WORTH left his earthly home at 1216 Redbird Lane, Dandridge, TN 37725 on Friday, August 13, 2021. He is survived by the love of his life of 63 years, Juanita Shell Worth; son, Terry Worth; daughter, Debbie (David) Rimmer; grandson, Christopher (Elizabeth) Worth; granddaughter, Leslie Rimmer; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, Kyleigh and Addie Worth, Matthew, Bella and Nicholai Rigler; brother, Billie Kyle (Jane Ellen) Worth. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Elmer and Eunice Worth; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Bell Shell; brother, Thurman (Margaret) Worth; grandparents, Joseph and Nancy Worth, Wiley and Addie Grahel, many aunts, uncles, cousins and church family and friends. J.W. was a faithful member and deacon of Green Hill Baptist Church for 47 years and was a volunteer and representative from the church at Zion?s Children?s home for 15 years and has been active at Tabernacle Children?s home since it was built. J.W. worked at Asarco Mines for 35 years without a lost time accident, (God is so good). The family will receive friends Monday August 16, 2021 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Green Hill Baptist Church with the funeral service to be held at 2:00pm. The interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors. The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice for all their love and care.
