JONATHAN CORY PRATER, age 34, of Talbott, TN passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Jefferson County High School, and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his mother, Cindi Prater of Talbott, TN; grandfather, J. W. Horner of Talbott, TN. Jonathan is survived by his father, Jeffrey Prater of Talbott; brother, Joseph Prater of Talbott, TN; daughter, Mallorie of Talbott, TN; grandmother, Jennie Horner of Talbott, TN; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service for Jonathan will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. George Miller officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
