Jon Alan Gibbons

I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

My beloved Jon Gibbons passed away on November 25 at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was able to pass away at his home receiving services from Smoky Mountain Hospice as well as his wife by his side. Born on May 8, 1963, Jon worked many different jobs in his life but was a hard worker at what he put his mind to. He was stubborn but his stubbornness helped him fight the good fight. Jon had a sense of humor; loved everyone he was around and supported and encouraged those around him. He was left behind by his beloved wife Paige Gibbons, and daughter Kaylyn Gibbons and his beloved 7 grandchildren, his brother Chris Gibbons and his sister Gayle Smith and their families.

We will be having a celebration of life; time and date to be determined at a later date, most likely sometime first of the year.
