John Morie

John Morie, age 82 of White Pine, passed away at Newport Medical Center on Monday, March 27, 2017. He is a member of Nina Baptist Church and retired from Lea-Wayne Knitting Mill. He is preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Florence Morie, brother Bud Morie, sister Helen Rice and son Eddie Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ethel Morie, granddaughter, Chanati (Jason) Moore, great-grandchildren, Cole and Carson Moore, brother, Clyde (Brenda) Morie, sister, Jean Rutherford, also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine with the Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017, 11:00am in Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
