Joe Tom Calloway

Joe Tom Calloway, age 82 of Talbott, TN passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Life Care Center in Jefferson City, TN. He was retired from Roadway Express. He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Calloway, daughter, Elizabeth Jean “Jeanie” Darnell, and sons-in-law, Larry Taylor and Danny Darnell. He is survived by his children, Brenda Doughty, Debbie Taylor, John (Regina) Calloway, Mary Ann (Mark) Childress, Greg Calloway, and Amy Lemka, 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Jackie Calloway, several nieces and nephews, and best friend, Bill Henry. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Don Ingram officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at Mountain View Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
